Water holding tank slowly fills on "City Fixtures"

My water holding tank slowly fills and overfills, despite the selector valve is on "City Fixtures". Incoming water pressure is 42 PSI. What could be the issue? Thanks, Baltz

Looking at your left valve, is it possible that it is turned a wee bit past the "City Fixtures" position toward the "City Fill" position?

Second suggestion, either go to your profile and add your coach make, year and model to your signature OR always put that information in your posts. It is WAAAAY easier to get help if people know what kind of rig your are asking about since they are all so incredibly different.

Be curious to see what you find. But I would try turning that left valve maybe 10 counterclockwise from where it is in your picture.

Thank you for the reply and the hints!
Actually, the position of the valve is where I feel a faint detent. I will go +/- a little tomorrow.
I checked my profile and the make and model of my coach is properly entered, but doesn't display for some reason.
Many coach builders use this water system by Anderson and I will also search for a manual online.
Thank you again, Baltz

My friend had the same problem. I believe your valve is like hers and is plastic. She ordered a new brass valve from Amazon. It is only 3 position but was a direct replacement for her. It is a little pricey but solved her problem. All the fittings on the back just unscrewed. Check the back of yours. Go on Amazon and put Anderson 4 way valve in the search box.

Hers got where she couldn't even get pressure when trying to use the pump.

Generally in the water systems I am familiar with, there are two places water can enter the fresh water tank when the valve is set for "city fixtures". One is the valve itself, and the other is the water pump. The pump has a one way or check valve to keep water from flowing backwards to the tank, and sometimes that one way valve gets something in it, or is defective and leaks.

You need to put the information into a signature line by opening the "User CP" at the top, left of the welcome bar, scrolling down to "Settings and Options", then click on "Edit Signature."
